“When Peter first asked me to join him for a conversation, I said yes based on the fact that he was good friends with my brother, John, and was highly regarded by him. So I booked an interview without really even listening to an episode of the pod. I did however listen to a handful of episodes before we finally talked and I was blown away by the level of discourse and natural rapport he seemed to have with all the guests he interviewed. I was especially amazed at his convo with Brian Baker of Minor Threat and Bad Religion fame. In fact, after listening to that episode, I wondered, why would he possibly want to talk to me when he gets guests on the level of Brian Baker?
When we finally sat down to talk, it was one of the most effortless and engaging podcast interviews that I have ever been a part of. In fact, I wouldn’t even call it an interview it was more like a legit conversation between two guys who were genuinely interested in a lot of the same things. The conversation went on for almost 2 hours but it honestly only felt like 30 minutes or so.
I can’t wait to dive further into the older conversations/episodes that are available here and I am seriously stoked to see what each new episode has to offer! Hopefully, we will get to sit down and talk again in the near future! (Maybe even in person, if this virus will cooperate.)
