“I listened to my first Screen Drafts podcast a while ago and have since caught up on all the episodes. Clay, Ryan, and their well-credentialed guests provide expert background on movies including classics and those nobody has heard of but need to check out. I like to learn about new movies to watch based on the category of each show and even though not all films appeal to me I find myself engaged with the drafters as they speak compellingly about each selection. I also enjoy getting a glimpse into a gathering of cinema aficionados each episode and the varying voices arguing for or against picks is fun and fresh. Opinions on movies are dime a dozen but it’s interesting to hear the lobbying, comparisons, and surprise strategizing when forced to rank categorizes collaboratively (and sometimes contentiously). I highly recommend this podcast!”
