“As a non-traditional hockey market fan, I can’t tell ya how much I enjoy this show—it’s like visiting with two Canadian buddies and listening to them banter for about an hour.
Mike and Dale are well informed (mostly) and bring a great fan perspective to current hockey events. I also enjoy their reflections on the role of hockey in Canadian life and culture (they don’t make a point of doing this, just kinda comes out along the way).
Drinking Game Rules-
1 sip- Mike saying “as an Oilers fan...”
2 sips- Dale saying “anyways...” as a transition phrase (a la Doug McLean).
5 sips- either of the guys giggling when they use the Roadmaster to edit sound effects/jingles into the show.
Finish your drink- when Dale mentions the “summer of 50”/Labatt 50. (Probably gotta listen to some back episodes.)
