He is coeditor of the forthcoming Marxism and the Capitalist State: Towards a New Debate. His trip to Armenia was funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Richard Antaramian is Associate Professor of History at the University of Southern California.  Together they wrote, “Azerbaijan’s Ethnic Cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh Is Fueled by Regional Power Struggles” in the Jacobin.
