“My hubby came through my line at a department store. We talked, he asked for my phone number, I wouldn’t give it. He left, I just thought “I’m an idiot why didn’t I give him my number” he said he thought “this is too good to be true” came back through my line buying chocolate covered cherries, asked for my number again. I gave it to him. Long story short. 5 days later we were engaged, 6 months later we were married. We were married just short of 39 years when he passed away.
