“While I did not know what I could expect when I began listening to Second Shift, I soon got drawn into the story, learned to love the characters, learned much about friendship, self-discovery, magic and more, and was left with a crying heart yearning for more when I reached the end of this amazing journey.
In this amazing Audio Drama (Hörspiel in german!), a group of 3 Teenagers from Boston is miraculously summoned to magical world ruled by factions of different opinions on the use of magic, their sudden appearance stirrs the attention of the authorities. While learning to fit into the world, they try to find a way to return to earth by learning the magics of the locals. Meanwhile, a forboding prophecy indicates their return will not be as easy as they would wish.
Second shift has easily played its way into my list of most favorite audio dramas of all time. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy stories with modern day elements.”
