“Courtney’s Instagram, CakebyCourtney, and now this podcast are each a sweet and happy place you can turn to when you need a pick me up. I have followed Courtney via Instagram for a few years now but just very recently (3 weeks ago) developed enough courage to make one of her cakes from scratch. Since then each recipe has been even more delicious than the previous one. Her recent episode with Tessa Huff is filled with their experiences of developing the courage to move forward and see where your passions can take you. Tessa shared her baking journey and both her and Courtney share memories of what it was like when they very first got started baking cakes from scratch! As a new “cake from scratch” baker this podcast, specifically this episode has helped me believe in my ability to bake and decorate cakes, it’s helped me remember everyone, including the bakers with their own cookbooks and cake decorating tool lines all started somewhere and even used that good ol’ sandwich piping bag trick! Thanks for being a happy place for me and so many others.”

“She cuts off the people who she is interviewing and it makes it hard to listen to after a while. The people on the podcast are amazing! I just wish it was easier to listen to instead of listening to her interjecting to these people who are in mid sentence.”
