“I first heard David Cancel speak at an MIT event about five years ago and he stood out as the smartest guy in the room. He has had a lot of success in the start up world, but I think it is more due to his personal philosophy of constantly “seeking wisdom” (and sharing it) rather than any knowledge of technology or tactics. Frankly, everyone knows the technology and tactics, and people spend more time talking about that than doing the work of improving themselves and what they have to offer the world.
There is a common thread that connects Seneca and Marcus Aurelius and Buddha and Jim Rohn and Peter Drucker and Tim Ferriss and James Altucher and David. I won’t try to explain it, but if those names resonate, check out this series of podcasts. I am looking forward to where they will go, particularly if the episode time is lengthened to allow deeper conversations.”
