“The cadence of the narrator’s voice is odd and difficult to listen to after a short amount of time, and her strange tonal emphasis of small words that don’t jibe with what she is actually saying in the rest of the monotone sentence, is jarring. She also seems to offer tonal sarcasm which spoon-feeds listeners what to think about historical offenders, when actually a dispassionate factual tone would inform listeners more effectively. Also, for example, in the Bonin episode, her tone of sarcasm regarding the orphanage makes evident her anti-Catholic bias, while most if not all orphanages in the past, whether secular or non-secular, were, unfortunately, abysmal and full of horrific abuses. Too much opinion here, not enough intellect. Unfortunately, I am unsubscribing.”
