The wedding
I love your soul and how you have grown through this experience. My wedding was all over the place. One of my bridesmaids didn’t show and didn’t tell me. Husbands friend was crap faced drunk (remember this fact). My rabbi was 2 hours late. We rushed photos and took before photos we never wanted to take. It was drizzling and my curls fell. Bottom of my dress got dirty and brownish. Rabbi had a nose bleed during the ceremony and we had to drink wine from a cup but we were told it was grape juice. It wasn’t and my husband almost spit it out onto my dress. She forgot to announce us husband and wife. Then my mother surprised us with a horse ride while people were dancing since we got married at a castle. When we were leaving to do the drive away an hour or so later the horse was gone so we had to use my husbands truck. It was dirty but when he opened the door to let me get in there was his drunk friend who was yelling for us to close the door and take him home. We have a photographer taking photos and he got a shot of the door opening and us smiling right before we turn to see his drunk friend. It’s funny now that it’s been 2.5 years and we are still married and happy. We laugh and tell people all the time what happened if they ask. Reading this, it sounds like I made it up but you can ask anyone when was there and you’ll get the same story. I laughed through the whole thing and never really got mad. I had no control so why get mad if I can’t fix anything. I got married and that’s all I wanted. A lot of friends and family are mad about it all but I just laugh. Hope you are doing well and I can’t wait for the next episode.

It’s a good mood podcast but surprisingly so real. Real laughs, real inspiring and so honest just what we all needed right now. I came for the laugh, I couldn’t believe I got so much more. Can’t wait to hear the next episode!
