Really useful for putting things in context
This podcast seems to have really found its groove as one that deconstructs journal articles and pseudoscience using the knowledge of someone with a research background. Exactly the kind of in depth context that those things need to be properly understood.

Thomas Smith is exactly the sort of atheist I would like to be. He treats his guests as human beings even if they are Christians. He is really determined to get to the bottom of an argument whereever it leads. He is utterly bereft of tribalism. He is engaging and friendly and the topics are great.

I like listening to Thomas' voice. The content isn't anything much different from other atheist podcasts, but he has a kind tone to his voice which translates into respect and thoughtfulness. I would also recommend Thomas and the Bible.Read full review »
