Description
Former MLB Investigator Eddie Dominguez, along with Christian Red (@CRedRojo) and Teri Thompson (@TeriThompson71), explore the issues covered in the new book Baseball Cop: The Dark Side of America's National Pastime in this episode.
Dominguez, and old friend and decorated member of the Boston Police Department, was an RSA (Resident Security Advisor) for Major League Baseball from 1999-2007. He then joined MLB's newly formed (at the time) Department of Investigations and served there from 2008-2014.
The DOI was formed as a response to the Mitchell Report on PEDs in baseball. There Dominguez found issues of human trafficking, rampant PED use, and much more.
It is an eye-opening conversation about the current issues facing baseball that are completely uncovered and exposed in this book.
