Kepner joins the show upon the release of his new book entitled, "K: A History of Baseball in Ten Pitches." Kepner has been covering baseball for over 25 years. He has been The Times's national baseball writer since 2010. He joined The Times in 2000 and covered the Mets for two seasons, then covered the Yankees from 2002 to 2009. Before that, he covered the Angels and Mariners. This episode talks about the process of writing this book, and how Kepner's love affair has continued despite the challenges facing it.
