“I was turned on to this show by a friend who thought I’d like it and boy is that an understatement. Fun, engaging, funny, educational, and pure film fanatic catnip this thing with its delightful and smart and knowledgeable hosts delivers one after the other. I’ve been turning folks onto it and getting great thanks back at me. What a great angle to look at movies or more accurately look and listen. It has legs too. Starting with the AFI list is great but partly with the ycritical eye they give the selections in that list is great by itself. Then expanding beyond that list to explore their own choices and boy this could go in and on. It’s hugely entertaining and always informative at the same time. I cannot praise it highly enough. I’m a film nut, a soundtrack lover from way back but not a musician. It works so well. I cannot wait until they go deeper and deeper into the catalogue and I intend to recommend it to everyone from Slate Culture Gabfest to Filmspotting and beyond.”
