Too much to ask
I was hopeful when this podcast came up in a search for more information on the prescription drug for female sexual dysfunction (Addyi) but found the episode to be sarcastic, condescending and even harmful. It’s not funny to downplay what is often a debilitating sexual dysfunction that has the real consequence of breaking up families and causing real distress in the Iives of those suffering and then have the gall to make the listener feel like turning to pharmaceuticals for hope is not going to help when you can get the same results (with less “risk”) by drinking a bottle of wine and masturbating. What a ridiculous “answer” to the question “Does Addyi really work”. I took a look at the show notes to see who these people were and was dumbfounded to read that Dr. Kat is an actual licensed sexologist who, I presume, has real patients that she is paid to help solve sexual problems. Dang.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast. Dr. Kat & Ross are hilarious, and I disagree with the comment by "notimeforcrap" - Dr. Kat gives great advice, and sometimes you just need to laugh at highly serious subjects, like female ejaculation.Read full review »

I really like Dr. Kat's podcast. It has a psychological aspect which I like, some humor which is very important and accurate sexual information. Accurate sexual information in this country is lacking because of all the right wing nuts running things. Dr. Kat is a breath of fresh air.Read full review »
