Insightful, honest and very necessary!
There’s are not many podcasts that are as nuanced Shade, a great amount of time and detail is invoked with how each guest. I particularly enjoyed the interviews with Aaron Turner and Zarina Muhammad - two people of colour working in the Arts that I follow and it was great to hear them chat in more detail about themselves, their practice and there approach to working in Arts. It’s rare that I get to hear two people of colour talking to each other, this discourse is really needed in a time when people of colour are having to counter their invisibility in an industry that likes to take from us without acknowledging us - Shade Podcast provides a necessary platform for people like myself who are trying to create a path for themselves in the arts.
