“Shaun at his slightly ill-organised best. Lots of off-mic retorts to the lighter news stories of the day, very much like the voice that says the things people wish they could say out loud. The chat between producer Ben and Shaun at the beginning makes for a great intro as does Shaun ad-libbing over the intro music!
Other sections of the show tend to be (but not exclusively) On This Day (Shaun picks moments from history so far back that it’s ridiculous!), Birthdays of celebrities (also see On This Day) and Listener Feedback.
The show generally features a few guests every week too. The It’s Been A Week episode every Friday nearly always features a weekly guest who chats about what sort of a week they’ve had.
Essentially this is a Monday to Friday show that keeps the mood light. It’s also very silly!”
