Her appearance on this podcast follows her keynote speech at the Top Women Tech Europe conference, where she discussed her experiences in pushing for effective metrics and analysis of the gender pay gap at her company. Beyond her primary role in engineering, Faye has been instrumental in advancing a data-driven approach to salary equality within her workplace. Over the past few years, she has worked collaboratively with her employer and the workers’ council to develop statistical frameworks for monitoring their ongoing efforts to foster gender equality. Together with her collaborators, she continues to spearhead an initiative to analyze and address the gender pay-gap and develop actionable policies to drive meaningful change.  In her appearance on this podcast, Faye shares some thoughts about her activist philosophy, emphasizing the need to balance advocating for broad, systemic change with the practical efforts required to implement solutions within corporate environments. She discusses the unique challenges of driving change in the corporate world, stressing the importance of accountability and a strategic approach to ensure that ideas for equality are not just proposed but effectively turned into real outcomes.
