“I have really enjoyed your podcasts so far, they’ve been very helpful and encouraging to parents interested in parenting with a Montessori view.
However I was deeply disappointed with your episode regarding Father Christmas. You speak of not being judgemental but on numerous occasions state parents are lying to their children with negative tones and call these ideas stupid. I would please ask that you be mindful to other parents who do use Father Christmas with their children and try not to make them feel judged and wrong in their choices. Not every parent uses the idea of naughty and nice lists. For some it is an exciting part of their tradition and making them feel judged for their choices is not the podcast I thought you were making.
It is an incredibly difficult time for everyone right now with this current climate. I don’t think that making parents feel wrong or judged is a caring, supportive stance and you have a wonderful opportunity to support many parents right now with your platform.”
