“I tried my hand at reading Shadow of the Torturer a few years ago, and I absolutely hated it. It seemed like another dumb 80’s fantasy book with a cruel, unlikable protagonist.
The protagonist is still unlikable and cruel, but I was so very wrong about the “dumb” part. The great and funny insights from these hosts helped me see that. Thanks guys! I came here from Just King Things and Homestuck Made This World, and I’m excited to keep reading along in the future.
