“I’m stoked for this podcast. I’ve been a lapsed reader for some time and this sent me to find an audiobook version, as after a long day it’s easier to sit and listen than to actively read. And now I’ve kicked of listening to hours and hours of audio books. Strangely a couple of weeks before his death I listened to McCarthy’s Blood Meridian, No Country for Old Men, and The Road. Like McCarthy, Wolfe’s dense winding prose is aided so much by a companion Podcast of folks intelligently highlighting and discussing the most important bits that sometimes you just miss when reading casually.
I look forward to future episodes.”
