So many TV review Podcasts, this one is weaker
I listen to a lot of podcasts that focus on reviewing TV shows, be it an old series, or currently airing TV shows. Out of all of them, this one was the most boring I have listen to. Pros 1. Very well researched. 2. You know actors and characters names. Drives me insane when podcasts are always like "yeah, this episode features uhhh what's his name? He was in that other show". This podcast has non of that. 3. The male host seems like a nice guy. Cons 1. The hosts have no energy or excitement. Most of the time they sound tired or bored. The female host seems to be trying very hard to come off as an intellect so she doesn't express any emotions and tries to sound smart during the more indepth conversations. The other host seems to try to be more upbeat but seems to be discouraged when the other host just sits there with her monotone voice. I can't express how important energy is to make a successful podcast. This show is reviewing your favourite TV show, be thrilled! 2.It's so quiet. Are the hosts filming in a library? 3. Because they are so quiet, the mic picks up a lot of breath sounds and when the host speak, you hear that mouth smacking noise a lot which get annoying quickly. Though that can be fixed by drinking lots of water before and during the podcast.

This podcast is very well prepared and documented with references to the books and insights on behind-the-scene moments. Plus, the hosts are fun, and have an interesting back-and-forth between them. Love it!

Hi guys, I'm really enjoying your podcast, however there's a couple of things I feel the need to help you out with. Gatiss is pronounced "gay-tiss", this is how Mark himself says it. Series 3 consists of three episodes: The Empty Hearse, The Sign of Three, and His Last Vow; Many Happy Returns was...Read full review »

It's obvious these two put a lot of thought into this podcast. Their show is well researched, and I like that they each have their own area of expertise. They're easy to listen to--unlike some after shows who can't even remember characters' names! I like that they walk you through the episode as...Read full review »
