Captain Teruk and his men are smuggling a majestic prize horse after a particularly rewarding day of pirating. When Jimmy unintentionally insults the horse and gets kicked by it, Captain Teruk tells him not to mess around with a relative of the fearsome Tikbalang. This leads the Captain to the tale of the two Tikbalang, set in the Philippines. One of them is good and noble, who sacrifices everything for the greater good, while the other...not so much. And entwined with these two Tikbalang, is the fate of Tanashiri, a simple young villager, who brings a revolution to the entire region.
