“This podcast is comedy gold. I’m listening to the latest ep (It’s A Long Long Way to Argentina) and when Esteemed Historian A (Kevin?) asks Esteemed Historian B (Jason?) if he’d like to hear his Argentinian place names with an accent, the only answer is yes, yes, you do.
EHA keeps referring to “River Plate” when referring to Rio de la Plata. Wikipedia does refer to it as River Plate as well (blaming it on the British) but other sites I hastily consulted (brittanica.com and amusingplanet.com) translate it as Silver River. So, mostly accurate, just as advertised.
Can’t wait to hear the rest of the episodes.”
