Too focussed on the US and US players
I was listening to episode 847 about the London Open and the fact that they have no idea who Nassim Fouchane is and his performance this year tells me everything i need to know. He is in the top 50 ITC ranked players with only 5 out of 6 games… if you follow his average points he will be in the top 5. You have no idea of the META over here as evidenced by everyone picking Drukhari to win it, ignoring the fact that Malik has won 20 games straight with Admech… and continued on to win this. As an Aussie, I would have thought at least Adam Camalleri might have a clue about what is happening in the UK… Drukari are struggling here due to the typical terrain being used. Also, anyone who calls themselves a “stats guy” then completely ignores what the data is telling them… is not a stats guy
