M&P Ep. 230, Annie Jorgensen & Laura Walker, At Home Articulation
Description
Join Garrett Clark as he sits down with Annie Jorgensen and Laura Walker, co-founders of At Home Articulation, a speech therapy app that allows parents to be empowered with tips and tricks and clinicians to quickly send homework to their client.
At Home Articulation bridges the gap between home and the speech therapy room, allowing kids to learn how to articulate sounds correctly in the classroom and at home. In their conversation, they discuss the founding story of At Home Articulation, the firm’s current business model, and the future of At Home Articulation.
Both Laura and Annie are ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists and experts in the speech therapy field. Before launching At Home Articulation, Laura worked for the Davis School District in preschools, K-6, and junior high. Annie worked in skilled nursing facilities with the elderly. She provided treatment for adults who suffered from strokes, brain injuries, and neurological disorders.
