“What Fu Guohao experienced in HK is the part Australian main stream ( ABC and SBS) media trying to avoid, or not willing to analyze it. Interestingly, Brisbane local news channel nine actually sent their reporters to HK airport and sent back the images like police got beaten and Fu was tied up, even interviews of the Australian passengers who were stuck in airport and complained. Those interviews and images we just couldn’t see from ABC and SBS. It is never about who actually Fu is, a cop or journalist; it is about what the protesters capable to do in the name of Democracy and Freedom. We are often criticized by Pro-HK people as “ brainwashed”, I was wondering, when they were beating and humiliating people like Fu, and still felt honored and morally (or politically) correct, who has been “ brainwashed”?”
