“I found out about this podcast because Cheri on her blog ”A Quilting Life” recommended it.
Do you know how hard it is finding a podcast that’s hosted by someone who seem to have an insane amount of things in common with you?
Well, now I did.
Like liking tea. And being Team Jean Luc Picard on TNG.
*smiles*
I binge-listened to episodes 1 to 13.
I’ve folded laundry and listened, I’ve quilted and listened, I’ve driven the car and listened, I’ve made apple pie and dinner and listened.
The talk concept she has going is really simple: she divided it into portions/segments and it works out great. It’s enjoyable to listen about her family life, what’s going on with her current quilt and knitting WIP:s (and yes, I constantly tell her in my head that ”it’s okay, things usually take 8 times as long as you think they will” ☺️) and how it is sometimes trying to manage a household and not get crazy in the process.
Thank you for starting this podcast, and know that you have (at least) one follower in Finland.
(Oh, and a comment to episode 13: when you go to Norway, if you want to have warm cozy feet in the wet and cold fall, buy some water-resistand Salomon hiking/walking shoes. People here in Finland at least use sensible water resistant shoes when we’re not using sneakers 😄)”
