“I won’t lie and say i’m not biased. I am. I’ve been following Cristine and Ben for quite some years so I knew i would like this podcast. And still I was surprise to discover how good it actually is.
For context, I am a 20 year old from Argentina. And in this podcast not only i have found great entertainment but it was also incredibly informative. Listening to other people with vastly different lives than me was amazing to say the least. Variety of topic, great laughs, motivation, actual good advice, different perspectives, always acknowledging why people might act certain way, never aggression towards other people and most valuable of all: GOOD ADVICE. Cris and Ben are always finding the right words for people out there. They are not your average youtubers with their, sometimes questionable, opinions.
Even when i think that some things they might be saying are coming from privilege you can still understand where they are coming from and make sense of it. Feels like they understand their situation and how that has formed their opinions. They never leave a topic without proper nuance. It feels like if i were to give a different opinion, they would listen, and make sense of it, same way the listeners do. It feels like a dialogue even if we can’t talk back. That’s the beauty of it.
I understand that for people who have no idea who they are, it might take some episodes to get into it but i bet they will be enjoying it as much in no time.
