Body Image and Dating: Learning to LOVE the Skin You’re In!

Description
Who’s caught themselves saying things like, “ughh I’m so fat”, “I’m not pretty enough”, “Everyone’s looking at me, I must look too fat in these jeans”. I know for myself as well as today’s guest, we have both been down this road of being overly fixated on our bodies and physical appearance. As women, I believe this tends to be a pervasive issue perpetuated by not only social media, but our families, culture, and society in general. We obsess about our our butt being too big, or not being big enough-if we look too fat, or too thin etc. etc. These beliefs literally rob us of the ability to have true authentic connection to others. ESPECIALLY in romantic relationships. When you are constantly focusing on what you hate about your body, you are basically sending out a vibration that says to everyone around you “I’m not enough”. If you desire REAL love and connection in your life, it MUST begin with loving YOURSELF first! In this week’s episode I’m chatting with Tasha Kristine: Celestial Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master. Divine Embodiment and Spiritual Intimacy Coach. Listen in as we discuss not only the damage we do to our relationships by hating our bodies, but how to come into an awareness of self-love by releasing the shame and guilt associated with the skin we’re in.
