In times of heartache
After 25 years of a beautiful marriage and relationship. My husband has gone. 25 years of seeing each other every day , texting and talking everyday. We had issues and had suggested seeing a counsellor but he was not interested. In January this year I took my sons away for a couple of days while my husband stayed home to work. When I returned, he told me he had packed his things and was leaving! The story unravels differently than what you would expect. Your podcast which i have only discovered have given me a great deal of validation! The abandoned mother with her shock at not being able to breathe living in a constant state of anxiety! I was on auto pilot trying to act like everything was fine whilst holding it together with jelly! Whilst trying to breathe and not collapse and still go to work! Then to being stood down from my job due to covid and not knowing how i would survive emotionally or financially i had to pack up our home of 20 years alone ! All whilst in lockdown. Your small venture has made me realise I am not going crazy and just maybe I will get through this!!

As most single mothers, I didn't plan to be one, and I must admit I used to dwell on the fact that I didn't have a partner anymore as I did love him very much. And of...Read full review »
