“I started listening to this podcast in 5 years ago when I was going through my separation and divorce. I am thriving as a divorced-single-parent for 5 years now but I am still here listening to this amazing podcast. I have been wanting to share my own story with Julia on the podcast for a long time now but my situation presents some challenges. My story will not be complete without mentioning a terrible thing one of my in-laws put me through. I have patched things up with this person and they are in my child’s life now. I have recommended this podcast to a lot of single parents I know. This podcast is popular where I live. Because of that, my unique story will easily identify me because of the notoriety of my ex-husband. Even if I talk about it anonymously, people can easily identify me and this could potentially destroy the relationship my child has with my ex-husband’s family. Maybe one day, when my child is no longer a minor, I would love to tell my story. My life is driven by my goal to keep my child safe and provided for. Which I am successful at. Thanks to my friends, my job, and this Podcast. Someone told me before that my story will one day be someone’s survival guide. And it has been so many times. One day, I will share my story. But now, I will just keep supporting this podcast by listening and recommending to friends who could benefit from it. What a powerful podcast. Thank you, Julia.”
