Description
Avigayil Gimpel made aliyah two days after getting married, and she hasn’t looked back since. Since then she has become part of the beating heart of Eretz Yisrael where she work with kids who have been diagnosed with ADHD. Her philioshopy is that there is too high of a prevalence of ADHD diagnoses and medication is not always the correct answer. In her line of work, she helps parents seek out the authentic root cause that is causing such distress in their child instead of just letting medicine do all of the work.
When the war broke out last October, Avigayil did not stop working with her clients, but stepped up to do her part for Am Israel! She drove her son and son-in-law out to battle right away while bringing a gun alongside her in case she ran into any danger. Then, in tangent with her work with the cherva kadisha, she helped to properly bury bodies and give those bodies the final respect that they deserved, dying L’Shem Shamayim. Tune in to hear her inspiring journey and how her story could be your story. If you want to learn more about her work, check out her books:
