#12 Crossing the Line: Must our Educational Background dictate our Career Path?
Listen now
Description
We live in a situation where thoughts and opinions of the majority are always true while the opposite is true for minority thoughts and opinions. In addition, many of us still rely on the assumptions of others - particularly the assumptions of the aforementioned majority group even if there is a chance that their assumptions are wrong. Furthermore, we can't conclude that something is 100% true or false especially in career planning. In this episode we will discuss these assumptions regarding those with a career that is not aligned with their educational background (and is this not what the majority think is wrong?). This will be discussed with a Human Resource (HR) expert equipped with 20 years' worth of experience who is also in a career that does not align with his educational background. Curious to know more?
