Still Viewing Sixers through Process-tinted lenses
Few people know the Sixers better than Rich and Derek, but their continued allegiance to everything process and resulting brings down the Pod. I listened to them defend Brett Brown over and over after playoff failures that he seriously contributed to (remember when the team couldn’t execute a play down the stretch, or even call a decent play, or even get a shot off) and after 1 year of failure by Doc with perhaps the most confounding performance in NBA history by Ben Simmons they didn’t hesitate to blame Doc, a post process coach. Their continued bias is laughable. They have finally realized Ben is an anchor to a contending team, which anyone who watches basketball could have seen the last 3 years, but Bodner still thinks he’s “top 30” and they act like this year was surprising. Take off your process-tinted lenses and it’s been obvious for years. Hope they can evolve or pretty soon it’s time to find another Sixers Pod.

Great podcast, I am also a subscriber to Derek's daily content. For a non philly resident, it is the best way to stay on top of all the Sixers news. Love our core three of embiid, Simmons and fultz assuming they stay relatively healthy. Or is it a core four with Covington or saric?Read full review »

Derek really know his stuff and conveys it very smartly. No BS, no hot takes - strong opinion backed by interesting film and stat work. Terrific.
