Unique, erudite, and fun.
Of course, there is fascinating discussion about games but there are deep dives into history and literature as well. The hosts are on the same level but know different things so it is like a double act of expertise. The enthusiasm for conversation and the topics under consideration carries through to the listener. I don’t know of any podcast that combines games and literature. Certainly none as effortlessly knowing.

Alexis and Lottie are so entertaining to listen to, I love the topics and insights they discuss. My only two complaints are that; 1: there aren’t more episodes. and 2: the audio can be a little inconsistent and you’ll have to adjust your volume frequently. Still absolutely 5 stars regardless though!

Two very bright hosts who could easily hold an hour on their own but have chemistry that makes every episode shine. It is impossible to come away from an episode without a few new books you want to read
