One of the top skeptic podcasts
I've listened to several of the skeptic/atheist-themed podcasts the last 4-5 years, and Skepticality consistently remains near the front. Some episodes are better than others, but the interviews are usually first rate. The recent additions of "segments" led by various semi-regulars range from amusing ("The Odds Must be Crazy") to repetitive and annoying (enough with the Guerrilla Skepticism...we get it...editing Wikipedia is important and can be misused in the wrong hands..I don’t need the 5-minute reminder each episode). Overall, I like the new direction, however. Finally, I think its admirable Derek takes this on mostly on his own these days...it’s well past time they remove "Swoopy" from any marketing materials. She clearly has the more natural "podcast host" personality, but Derek has been going mostly solo for a while now...and he deserves a lot of credit for that.

If you are interested in science and on learning what science has to say about popular...Read full review »

An excellent mix of topics and guests, all relating to science and critical thinking. The presenters, Derek and Swoopy are entertaining, informative and humourous making them very easy on the ear. A great podcast with a HUGE archive of previous shows to entertain you for years to come.
