Window to the Soul
I have always heard that eyes are the “window to the soul”, but, really, cooking is that window and “Skillet” is the medium. This podcast is such a wonderful collection of stories - told by inspired chefs who share their memories, life stories, and emotions. The stories are brought to life by two equally inspired radio producers. These heartfelt recollections bring back so many of my own cooking memories - especially those with my grandmother, mother, and daughter. Not only can I almost taste the food these chefs are making, I share their emotions as well. Each story is so well done, with excellent photos and back-up material on the web site. Definitely worth listening to.

So wonderful! It is incredibly refreshing to hear stories from real people from all backgrounds, not just celebrity chefs. Thank you!

Just listened to College Ramen with Dan Wu & was moved by his reflections on food & the magic of it that connects on a deeper level than purely taste or aesthetics. This is a great podcast for those who want to dig into what food REALLY means to all of us.
