“I’ve been a Skimm subscriber for years and I’m glad you’re doing a podcast now! It’s short and succinct but also informative enough—that’s kind of your thing.
One suggestion. The second episode talks about the anti-vax movement. It was presented in some way as two sides of a debate. That’s misleading, in much the same way as the climate change “debate” is. There’s no scientific question about this, the proof is conclusive. It’s just people’s opinions and fears. Please be careful how you present sensitive information like this that has huge impacts on public health. Be sure to phrase all the language carefully and please make a clear statement of the truth. That’s not political, it’s factual. Something like “vaccinating your kids is strongly recommended by every major health organization and has been proven time and time again to save millions of lives. Not vaccinating your child will put them and other children at risk of contracting a dangerous or deadly disease.”
