“No Limits” Rip-off
An avid podcast listener, I was excited when a friend sent me the link to this series recently. However, I was sorely disappointed to hear Carly and Danielle interview many of the same women as Rebecca Jarvis, only not nearly as intelligently, insightfully or thoughtfully. The format and set-up of this podcast - started one year after No Limits - seem like they are ripped straight from the pages of Rebecca’s playbook, including her signature question of “what’s the worst piece of advice you’ve received?” There are no shortage of amazing women to interview who are doing interesting things and it’s disappointing that The Skimm are simply copying Rebecca rather than charting their own course. Plus, they really need to grow out of the silly girl giggles if they want to be taken seriously while interviewing impressive women.
