Slam the Gavel welcomes Rael Lapenta, to the podcast. Rael was last on Season 4, Episode 66. She resides in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Rael graduated from St Joseph’s University with a duel certificate in education and special education w/ a reading specialty.     Teaching special education for years, before training in Texas to be a certified, Real became an (RD)  Relationship Development Intervention consultant. This eventually lead to opening her own practice in NJ: Behavioral & Sensory Solutions. She does see clients and supports their families to manage and treat behavioral concerns, most specifically with sensory processing  interventions.      We discussed what has been going on in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and how OCY is being handled with no ACCOUNTABILITY and no OVERSIGHT.  Rael announced that there will be a County Council meeting  that will take place FEBRUARY 7th, 2024 where Rael encouraged all parents to attend even parents that are not affect by Office of Children and Youth...YET. We also talked about Custodial Interference and how to advocate for your rights and how to legislate.
