My favorite podcast
I adore this podcast - I always say to people it’s like attending a dinner party with your most articulate, intellectually curious friends. Sometimes their guest hosts are a little uneven, though just as smart. They had a guest host, for instance, who before prepping for the show hadn’t watched an Almodovar film, which I can’t imagine. The same guest host also always seems to talk about how she’s in her late twenties and makes snarky comments about Stephen being old, as if he were 120 years old instead of in his 50s. I find it distracting and it’s too bad, because sometimes this guest host has some really smart, thoughtful things to say. Maybe once a couple of years have passed and she’s in her 30s she’ll be less nervous and snarky?

I’m so grateful that the hosts have kept at it...Read full review »
