My weekly listening highlight
I have been listening to the Culture Gabfest since the beginning, so have built a strong, although admittedly one-way, relationship with hosts Julia, Stephen and Dana. But that’s not just due to longevity, but thanks to the incisive criticism and witty conversation that I get to listen in on weekly—with them and their guests. I always learn something and usually laugh out loud at least once. I live outside of the US, so they are a key connection for me to what is going on in the culture on the other side of the pond. They’ve pointed me to many a cultural delight and deepened my general knowledge. Thanks, guys. Keep it up for another 15 years or so. I’ll be listening.

My obsessive completist podcast list of a dozen + shows has been honed down to one, just ONE show, The Cultural Gabfest!!! If you are new to it you will first chafe a bit at Stephen’s erudite turn of phrase but if like me, over time you’ll learn to embrace (and Google mid podcast) it.
