Cohost dynamic is a real problem
I have listened to this show for years and have really valued it. I admire Felix’s expertise and I will continue to read his journalism. However, I’m considering unsubscribing from this podcast because the way Felix talks to Elizabeth—and the dynamic between the cohosts as a result— is just really, really hard to listen to and ultimately leads to much worse discussions. I don’t know if Felix reads these reviews, but if he does, I really, really beg him to listen to some of the recent episodes (particularly this latest one on banking) and listen to the way he responds *whenever* Elizabeth says something. Even if I mostly agree with Felix, the tone, the aggression and condescension is super uncomfortable to listen to. In many episodes, it seems like Elizabeth has been cowed into speaking just 1-2 times an episode. This combination of cohosts really doesn’t work— since no one else has Felix’s level of expertise (the way Anna or Stacey did) and because Felix consistently undermines Elizabeth—this threesome is *really* not working.

More reviews of Slate Money
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I’m reasonably sophisticated in the world of business and investing, and I always learn something on Slate Money. It is 3x the depth and quality of Marketplace. Always interesting and thoughtful, I would highly recommend this podcast.

another great podcast from Slate. I really enjoy the mix of people and perspectives -- substantive but casual at the same time. excited about it.

Between this show and the Gabfest, Slate rules podcasting. Great panel with an engaging, interesting dynamic. Love it.
