Promising but Disappointing
I was exciting when this podcast began, I’m a big fan of Felix’s. I was hoping the hosts’ conversation style would improve, but it hasn’t really happened yet. Felix is extremely domineering and imperious, always quick to interrupt and show off his superior knowledge. He doesn’t seem to have any respect for the other hosts (Jordan in particular), and it seems he believes himself to be more knowledgeable on every subject than everyone else. Every week the same thing happens: Felix turns to Kathy or Jordan to introduce a subject, then interrupts them after their first sentence. Every time! It gives the impression that what their saying isn’t worth listening to, and that they didn’t discuss the topics before taping. This was the main thing that made me stop listening, so cut it out Felix! This show should either be hosted by Felix alone, interviewing a new person each week, or the other co-hosts should be replaced with people who Felix actually respects, and might defer to. For example, when Matt Levine was on the show the conversation was great, I wish every show were like that!

Felix is great but Cathy is just annoying and only wants to talk about what she wants to talk about and, despite her great resume, is not very interesting on anything
