Quality gone downhill massively
It used to be good because it had informed co-hosts. Emily & Elizabeth just don’t know very much about finance & economics. Emily at least tries to learn the subject but still not enough. Elizabeth is terrible; she doesn’t understand the substance. Emily and Elizabeth mostly provide you with generic criticism of business & finance from a generic lefty perspective. Imagine what a lefty college student would say about any business or finance topic: that’s the level of engagement you get here. Felix understands the substance a lot more but seems too lazy to provide any pushback most of the time. If you want any insightful thoughts on business & finance, just read Matt Levine’s Moneystuff or listen to one of those Bloomberg podcasts. If you want generic college-level lefty critiques of business & finance with little understanding of the plumbing & substance, this is your show.
