Love it
As much as I loved Planet Money, I’ve switched over to Slate Money for my fix of economic news and analysis (I should probably listen to both, but who has time?). I find them more honest and more skeptical than most economic analysts. The actual economic world is usually messy and irrational and intertwined with politics, and the Slate Money team isn’t just arguing for the supremacy of economic principles, but often tries to figure out how economics intersects with the real world and what it means for real people and what we believe about fairness and equality. Oh, and they’re fun and lively to listen to. If you haven’t listened in a while, the early episodes where a little uneven but the team has found their rhythm.
