“This review ain't just another case of know-nothing, pro-bigot, Orwellian trolling. Slate does some good work (even great work!) and some bad work, but my 1-star review is because today's edition (5/30/17) was just so horribly read. I can sympathize with a dry-mouthed, scratchy-voiced reader, but krist there musta been a dozen long interruptions to grab a sip of water. If it's that bad, take a moment, have a tall cup of honey-tea, and start over. The article being read was indecipherable with all those interruptions. Is anybody editing/producing this thing?”
