“I try not to review anything that I don't finish, but this one I felt like I had to. Why? Because despite how many times I tried to get through this, I just couldn't finish listening to the book.
The first reason is that the author just didn't have a good speaking voice & I couldn't help but wonder if he didn't have a friend that could've read this for him- it was some of the worst reading I've heard & that includes people I've seen reading books out loud at public events I've attended. The other is that there are several errors & goofs, which weren't corrected or even attempted to be fixed.
If he were to put this in paper format, I might read it. The story sounded far better than what it was, but it still was sort of bland. I understand that this was free money-wise, but I did pay for it with my time & I felt my time would've been better spent listening to other podcasts.”
