“This has been my favorite podcast of recent times, and I’ve had to stop myself from barreling through the episodes, instead savoring and slowing down with each one before going to the next. I’ve read some of Martin’s work before, but encountering him through his own voice has been a breakthrough, and I’ve gone and gotten the audiobook of Smoke Hole to listen to next, which seems to be the real way to “read” it. I wish he would record his backlist now as well.”
